Your GP can help your brother in his efforts to lose weight.0

I don't know that there's such a thing as a "large toilet" but large toilet seats are available at a reasonable price.

As DLA is paid to cover the additional costs of a disability, this would seem to be a suitable item to spend it on.0 -

They do exist - bariatric toilets - but there are lots of cheaper adjustments that can be made, like a toilet support that fits around the toilet.0 -
Social services may be able to help, you would need to contact your local council so they could assess your brother.Dum Spiro Spero0

a bigger toilet seat wont make a difference need one of those large square ones you see in posh places.0

sorry its not an actual toilet seat but the whole toilet even without a seat would be better for him more space.0

Did you read post 3?
DLA is paid to assist in the additional costs of being disable. Buying a suitable toilet seems a good use of using this benefit.
Is he in council provided accommodation?Thinking critically since 1996....0 -
Or get the local OT team out to do an assessment of his needs.4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0

No, living with parents in an owed home with a homeowner. Would he still qualify?Or get the local OT team out to do an assessment of his needs.
Who is the OT team from the local council/authority?
Thanks.0
