Peaceful bedtime in Lanzarote?

Hello all

I am looking for guidance about Lanzarote. Am thinking of booking somewhere for beginning August. I NEED it to be peaceful at bedtime though.

I don't mind noise and music in the day but need to be secure in the knowledge that it all shuts up around midnight.

Can anyone guide me? I know lanzarote not party mad (hence me choosing it) but if anyone has insider info I'd be glad to hear from you

I plan to take two 15year old boys and a husband.

It may be better booking a private villa?

At Christmas we stayed at the RUI Paraiso, that's very quiet and peaceful away from the main pool area in the 'palace' side of the complex.

He called me "the wife" once so that's my payback :p

Thanks all for your guidance. Will look at the links, thanks. I read trip advisor and all that but I really am freaky with music at bedtime. Would truly ruin it for me.:o

Playa Blanca seemed pretty quiet to us last year. There is a huge thread started by a resident, they may be able to recommend a guaranteed peaceful location.

We've stayed in all the resorts and to be fair none have been particularly noisy.

Playa Blanca would be my choice.

The hotels and apartments are generally not right in the centre and in any case the centre of Playa Blanca still has a 'village' feel about it.

I've never come across rowdy noisy behaviour there at all.

Similarly, Costa Teguise is hardly 'boysterous'.

Dependant on what you want to pay...
AI at sandos Papagago Arena beach Hotel i can throughly recommend it is at the far end of Playa Blanca ,rooms are spacious ,food is excellent and there would be some low key evening entertainment.they have 3 pools and a gym/spa.
Lovely walk along the coastal promenade to Rubicon Marina that has a market there twice a week and some nice little cafes .
Its not cheap but if you opt to go i can guarantee you will want to return as lots of people do.
Take a look on TA at the reviews.
