"Comma." It is good down to -65
Sorry, not with you. Do you mean that the basic Sonax Clearview is good down to -65°C? That seems unlikely or they'd market it as being able to do this, surely?
Edit: Ah, I realise you were talking about a product made by a company called Comma! This stuff presumably:

Do you mean add some meths to the cars windscreen bottle ?
Been thinking whether I should start topping up with just straight s/wash from now on.0 -

"Comma" undiluted it won't freeze down to -65.
25% dilution it is good down to -25 which is about right for winter in Scotland.
Rest of the year 5% dilution id ok.0 -
Become a distiller and make your own. The methanol and acetone foreshots from distillation are ideal. May involve legal grey areas0

Think I paid about a tenner for 25l of carplan last year sometime. Worth an ask if you're friendly with your local parts places.
Only downside is, it's bit big to keep in the boot though in case you need it. :cool:Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?

From Thursday Lidl are doing their excellent winter screenwash again - http://www.lidl.co.uk/cps/rde/xchg/lidl_uk/hs.xsl/index_35794.htm
This is really good stuff and thoroughly recommended.0 -
Last week in ASDA they were doing the concentrated stuff 2x2.5L for £20

I've seen 75p for 1l in Wilkinsons for diluteable stuff; was during the summer though. The time to stock up on the stuff may have been & gone.0
