Virgin Mobile Frustrations!

I have been with Virgin mobile for years now,but they are very frustrating to deal with.I have a Nokia N8 on a 18 month contract,a good package,600 mins, unlimited texts, unlimited data and unlimited Virgin to Virgin mins for £20 a month.
My phone is now playing up,when someone rings me,8 times out of 10 the touch screen goes blank and i can't answer it!
As my contract has only 3 months left to run i rang for an upgrade, maybe a Samsung S3,only to be told i would have to pay £91 to pay up my present contract before i could do this, even though my present phone is !!!!!!ed!
I said i was willing to sign another 18 month contract today, and in 3 months i could go elsewhere,so for the sake of £91 they could technically lose hundreds,or thousands in the long run,as all the family are on Virgin at present! What is the logic in this??
Oh,they offered to send me a £30 phone to use while their tech dept would try to fix my phone!!Loyal customer??
Money does not bring happiness...but if you are already happy it does bloody help! :rotfl:

so they offered to fix your phone and send you a replacement phone in order for you to be able to call, send/recieve texts etc. or let you buy yourself out of you contract so you can get a samsung s3

and you don;t like that i think they have been very nice

That's odd they would do that - my partner had 2months left on his sim only contract with Virgin and just upgraded to 800mins, unlimited virgin-to-virgin mins, 1GB data, 3,000 texts, free phone insurance for the duration of his contact (24months) and a Nokia Lumia 800 handset for £22 per month :)

The new contact was added to his account instantly - no charges whatsoever....

We also have Virgin home phone, BB, and TV

I would give it another couple of weeks and then rather than ringing up re. your current faulty handset - tell them you are inquiring about an upgrade and see what they offer you....
