  • Espresso is right. The mains adapter for this is pretty chunky!

See Extra Images, number three for a picture. Great charger and batteries though!

For a really compact little charger, check out the Uniross GlobeTrotter - it comes with US-style pins, and UK and European adaptors. Folded up, its not much bigger than 4 AA batteries! It is also usually sold with 4 2300mAh NiMh batteries.

A tip - no matter what batteries you are using, always carry a spare set - the ones in the camera will always run out when you are in the middle of nowhere.
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life. :)
  • Agreed! My camera takes 2 batteries and I always carry 4 more charged and ready. It always runs out just when you need it for that once in a lifetime shot!

We've got one of these. No external power adapter needed, just change the cable for one with the right plug. You can even buy extra cables with different plugs if you want. It has a built in transformer that automatically adjusts to local voltage. All very compact and extremely light weight.

Bought it after seeing a review in stevesdigicams. We travel to Canada every year. Not had any problems.

Not as cheap as 7 day shop though.

The batteries are amazing too. Last for ages in our digital camera.
