I'm moving to spain for a year, best option for phone contract?
Hello,
I'm going to be temporarily moving to spain for 1 year for work experience.
During this time, I will still want to contact my friends and family in the UK.
Could someone advice me on the cheapest way to do this, such as the best network operator for international usage.
Also, what would be the best option for staying in touch with people in spain, would I use the same company for both needs?
Many thanks.

This is a good deal:

With such plentiful cheap data, you should be able to use VOIP (and wifi) to contact people in the UK via a smartphone.0 -
I used their mobile Internet on holiday.
Their smartphone data offer looks OK (although I've not compared it to others).

If you get your current phone unlocked you can get a SIM in the supermarket.
Put your UK SIM in an old phone so people who don't know your new number can ring you.
If you have a phone capable of Skype or another VOIP service then that would be useful for UK calls.0 -
No need. Just put a voicemail greeting on your UK number to tell callers your Spanish number.Im_just_careful wrote: »Put your UK SIM in an old phone so people who don't know your new number can ring you.0
