Samsung Galaxy Note TMobile Deal
Hi
Came accross this deal at MobilePhonesDirect
http://www.mobilephonesdirect.co.uk/Brands/Samsung/b439/p118835.aspx
For Samsung Galaxy Note (free) 24 month tariff with T-Mobile, 100 minutes, unlimited texts, 750mb Mobile Internet at £21.00 per month
I think its a really good deal for me. I know the minutes are low but I have a tarrif with 100 minutes on VM and never gone over as I text mostly but I don't currently have a smart phone or internet connection on my existing tariff which ends in December. I only pay £8.68 per month to Virgin so it won't break the bank if I keep paying the remaining 5 months charges.
Have spoken to Virgin about an early upgrade and they won't bite and I certainly would not get this phone at the price of the mobilphonesdirect deal. Also Virgin or Tmobile network is the only decent signal I get at home
Could someone give me some thought on this please

Phone up Virgin and give them notice to cancel your contract with them or get your PAC if you want to keep your number.
You'll have to pay off the rest of the contract which will be 5x£8.68 minus any discount they might give.0 -
Thanks for the advice but I will let Virgin tariff run to the end of contract as I am not transferring my telephone number and besides it can still be a backup for a few months just incase I get near to the limit with 100 minutes on the new tariff.
I would really like to know if the new deal is any good though or if there is anything better before I commit.
Thanks0 -
Deal is very good, haven't seen anything better for £21 and that amount of internet especially with a free phone.
Make sure you remember to cancel 30 days before the end otherwise it will continue as a rolling contract and you will continue paying for it.0 -
If its any help, its on the carphonewarehouse as a web exclusive for £20.50, you get 100 mins, unlimited texts and 500mb internet. (24 months). Would think the internet is a little on the low side and would need topping up but then I'd say the same with the T-mobile contract.
Don't forget Quidco/Topcashback.0 -
I agree that the Internet side is a bit low as you will be using a lot of it as you begin exploring. You may be able to top it up for a little, see if they will add a bundle or something, and as you will be paying almost £30 a month (with the continuing the VM deal) when you have had a month with the new one you could add the bundle when you cancel the VM one.
Have fun0 -
I won't be using internet much whilst out and about and I intend to log on to my wifi at home with it whilst exploring but thanks for the information0

The Note 2 is due to be launched in August so the original Note might be expected to come down in price over the next few weeks. There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
It's for the many and not the few. Be sure it's out there looking for you.
In every town, in every state. In every house and every gate.
Wth every precious smile you make. And every act of kindness.
