    hi,

its not really an offer. its a simple repayment of what you paid in plus 8% interest so if its correctly calculated then this is all you will get!

anyhow congrats on your win :)

Sorry Burty, badly worded on my part :)

But as far as I'm concerned, even though I know it's not really, it is free, unexpected money :D

Cheque received today from MBNA for CC PPI :)

I'm surprised at how little time it took to finalise.

Once again, thank you for your help guys :D

    Hi Guys,

    Quick update time:

Today I received another letter from MBNA.

Once again, a cheque is winging its way to our place :D

    Just under £2500 :D

Thank you very much guys, I couldn't have done it without you :D

Credit cards nearly paid off, and a standing order set up for my favourite greyhound charity, might as well share the result :D

Thank you once again guys :D

    Hi Guys,

    Quick update time.

So far this week the postman has been a bit busy.

Monday knock back from John Lewis. Stated that I'd filled it in myself, even though I don't remember doing it.

Wednesday, Capital One, looking deeper into it. Another four week wait. :(

Today, Santander have accepted my claim and sent the form out for £2500 :D:D:D

Likes like I'll be debt free sooner than I thought :D

Once again guys, thank you so much for your wonderful help :D

    Hi Money,

I was hoping you'd still be on at this time of night :)

It was thanks to people like your good self that I got this :)

    Many thanks indeed.

Just one thing to note though, this was another account I done a partial settlement with, so far I've had three wins with accounts that were partial settlements. Perhaps the cc companies and banks have had a change of heart :)

You've probably been lucky and the lenders concerned haven't kept records of your partial payments.
    Either way, well done!;)

    Thank you MI :)

Not sure what to do about the JLP response though, I certainly don't remember wilfully taking the PPI.

You can go to FOS, of course, but you not remembering is not valid evidence that it didn't happen.
FOS will take a year or more to decide for you...
