you are most welcome, I do like encouraging other dfw's but I find some of the diary's move so fast you need to live on here to keep up and I do not have enough time as it is! totally agree with the keeping you on track, I love seeing my achievements written down, makes it seem more real and less like daydreams!

have a look at the diary if you want, I update it on the first of each month and just done one now so it'll give you a bit of an idea of where I'm at and where I hope to go :D

    keep up the good work!

Hi savvykaz - I read your diary too, don't usually reply but I do follow your progress with interest as I'm sure do many others. What did you choose for your 'employee of the month' prize by the way

And me! I read, just don't reply. Though am quite new so am still overwhelmed by the size of the site sometimes...! Well done on your weight loss, i started the year at 12 st 4lb and have managed to get down to 11st 5lb. Am aiming for 10st 6lb by June 30th, entirely do-able! What would we do without incentive of hols?! Sending positive metabolic vibes from grampian to yorkshire... :j

Thanks folks for the replies :j

Seaxwyn - I still haven't decided which vouchers to go for, but think I may end up with the M&S ones, then I can treat myself to a new 'holiday wardrobe' ;)

chica_fi - Grampian vibes have been received and Yorkshire ones returned :p Where are you going on your hols? I can't quite believe it, but I've not had any chocolate for about a week now and I am such a CHOCAHOLIC :D I am determined to fit a comfortable size 12 before we go to Portugal!

Lovely - I've never been to France (only Euro Disney:p ). Before we met (22yrs ago) DH used to go camping in France and we've always said we'll go some time, but that time has never come :o - think I like my 'home comforts' too much.
Good luck with the 'baby trying' ;) . We have one beautiful daughter; she's 13 now but still my 'baby'. There's nothing better than being a mum, despite the stroppy teens we're experiencing now - I wouldn't swap her for the world!

    Evening diary :hello:

Ive been at work today and got paid double time (worked 7 1/4 hrs - paid for 14 1/2) :j

Just to update on my weightloss as well

    16/04/07 = 12st 3lb
    23/04/07 = 11st 13lb (4lb loss)
    30/04/07 = 11st 12lb (1lb loss)
    07/05/07 = 11st 10.5lb (1.5lb loss)

I'm really pleased as I am on track to lose the desired 21lb before we go to Portugal in July.
Have to admit to cheating quite a bit this week too :o - devoured half a bag of Jelly Tots one of the girls brought in to work! Still not had any chocolate though

6 1/2 lbs :j well done, kazz!!! Very impressed. I'm stuck somewhere in the low elevens. I know why, though, 'treats' have sneaked their way bank onto my daily meal plan. I walked all the way from one end of union street to the other today though - surely that must have helped  ??!!
