185185 stopped?

I'm with Primus & have been using 185185 during the day, so far without any problems. However just now, I successfully used 185185 and then the next call I tried produced the default message 'the number you dialled has not been recognised, please check & try again'.
I suspect that Primus has twigged and is now blocking 185185. Has anyone else come across this?

Could be that Primus now block 18185. Have you tried the alternative number?Especially for all NTL, Telewest, other non-BT landline and mobile customers we have dedicated the freephone number 0808 1 703 703 for cheap international calls.
Note that the rates are different if you use this number.

I took it from his reply, that he had actually been dialling 185185 as a prefix -not that Primus were blocking 18185:)0 -
I have had the same problem with Primus using 1899. Have had a big row ready to go to OFCOM. So fed up have managed to escape from them without termination penalty. So MoneyMartin, I suggest you change your advice because it seems to be either misleading or totally incorrect. I am thinking of complaining to OFCOM but I know that will get me nowhere fast. Maybe sue MoneyMartin!!!! Only joking, keep up the good work. The moving finger, having writ, moved on.0

Yes On the Primus Deals it does say
Allows override providers? Yes (Gave MSE written guarantee lasting until at least Dec 2012)
You need to take this up with the forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com
I believe the problem arises when service is provided by Primus from unbundled lines (llu). But it would be helpful if forum team clarifed their statement.0 -

I did post about this http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=50414105&postcount=560 back in April to clarify that.
Edit: No LLU provider is obliged to provide access to Ixxx(x) Indirect access codes.
(You can call 101, 111, 112 etc)
That is what I meant Heinz, so post clarified.0 -

Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
