Ok... its my first post and yes i am about to vent. I dont do this very often but i do feel the need to warn people about the above company. They have lied, deceived and provided me with nothing but poor products, parts and service for the last 2 months.
I purchased a Kuppersbusch induction hob last year for my new kitchen and was initally impressed by the quality of product. However after a year of use the induction hob decided to break down. TEKA/KB has a third party Customer Care call centre that handles all of the after sales service and I duly notified them of the issue. 2 months on the hob is still not fixed and unfortunately its the old story of the there being no element of customer or service from the reps at the call centre.
During the 2 months the engineer has been out on 4 occasions to replace various things to no avail. He has, through no fault of his own, arrived with wrong parts, correct packaging but wrong parts inside and used parts that had been previously opened and sent back to stores as they were faulty. I also managed to speak to a team leader at the call centre who agreed it was a fair while to wait and promised me that he would try to get a replacement hob for me. A week later on chasing the new hob i was told this conversation never took place.
I got angry and contacted TEKA head office to escalate the problem. A very nice apologetic lady, typical customer service banter, promised to take control and get the thing fixed. 8 days on from my inital contact it still hasnt been fixed. She promised to call me back yesterday but failed to do so. I called today and apparently the engineer is coming out again this evening to have another go at it. I told her the company was a disgrace and her response amounted to shrug of the shoulders and "Face... bovvered?" Totally pathetic.
I have a young family and a broken hob is not a great thing to have.
So if you do have a choice do not choose TEKA/Kupperbusch.
