Meal Plans W/B 14/7/12

Hi everyone - hope it's ok to start the thread as I am logged in and meal plan done 
This week I have planned the following:
Breakfast
HM Peanut and Choc Chip Granola (or Snickers Cereal as we are calling it
) or wholemeal toast. Fruit. Soya milk/tea.
Lunch
Cheezly, Thyme and Pear Scones or Cheezly Savoury (ie with chives, grated carrot, raisins and salad cream) in Wholemeal. Carrot sticks. Mini Ryvitas for DD1, soya dessert DH, soya yog me and DD2. Fruit.
Teas
Sun: not sure yet, some sort of sarnie/on-toast and a sweet bake, possibly a plain loaf cake with buttercream.
Rest of the week: Crackers with fruit. Soya milk/tea.
Dinners
Sat: Pizza Tartlets, wedges and greens
Sun: Slow Cooked Mince and Onions, veg and yorkie puds with gravy
Mon: Sweet and Sour Tofu Veg with noodles (slowcooker)
Tue: Mince and Onion Plate Pie (x2, one for the parents) with mushy peas and carrots
Wed: Mediterranean Bean Stew with couscous (slow cooker)
Thu: Vegetable Soup with HM Bread (slow cooker)
Fri: Apple Onion Floddies, HM Oven Chips and mushy peas
Suppers
Soya milk for children, popcorn for us.

Friday - hot prawn and HG new potato salad (arranged earlier when the sun shone briefly, but looking less appealing now it's raining again)
Saturday - lamb and squash curry with lemon rice
Sunday - left blank as there's a food festival on locally and I'll wait to see what tasty-looking treat I can find
Monday - courgette pizza
Tuesday - tuna lasagne
Wednesday - bean burgers
Thursday - chilli con carne with rice / bread / somethingBack after a very long break!0 -

Sun: Leftover Pie with Sauteed Potatoes
Mon: Meatball Subs
Tues: Tomato Soup with HM Croutons
Weds: Not sure
Thurs: Corned Beef Hash
Fri: Enchiladas
Sat: Not Sure
Sun: Toad in the Hole with Beans.
This is subject to change depending on what actually IN the freezer. Should be a cheap week shopping-wise though. Have a good one!

Chicken stuffed with goats cheese and basil, garlic pots and veg
Chicken and ham pie with HM chips, veg
Fajhitas
Sausages - may do a casserole for DH to use up some quorn sausages I can no longer eat as not GF and I will have sausage, chips and beans

Well last week OH had to unexpectedly work away for a couple of nights so some of last weeks meals are now this weeks meals :rotfl:
Tonight: Steak, scampi, HG new potatos and peas
Sun: Roast chicken with n*ndos sauce, sweet potato wedges, spicy rice and salad- plus OH making an apple and blackberry crumble(shhh dont tell the OS weight loss board!;))
Mon: Toad in the hole with cabbage and onion gravy
Tues: Spag bol
Wed: HM fish cakes and salad with maybe baked sweet potatos
Thurs: chilli beans wraps with re fried beans
Fri: chicken curry (from the freezer) with hm chaptisO/S weight loss 2.5 /10lbs (11st 8.0- 08.02)0 -
Mine for the week - not got much food in but determined to make it to next week without going shopping so mostly chips and whats left in the freezer!
Monday - dinner at my parents
Tuesday - actifry chips, burgers & peas
Wednesday - dinner at OH's parents
Thursday - HM pizza - tomato, cheese, sweetcorn & pepper
Friday - actifry chips, sausages & beans
Saturday - HM quiche, actifry chips & mushy peas
Sunday - veggie, noodle & fry's steak style pieces stir-fry with HM sauce0 -
Just done ours so here goes...
Packed lunches using either egg mayo, cheese savoury or tuna and sweetcorn. Got some HM bread rolls and some YS bread rolls in freezer. Will also use up various HM soups in the freezer. Stocked up on Mr A super6 fruit and have some HM chocolate muffins and twinks. Should have enough for the 4 of us for the week.
Breakfasts will be cereal, toast or HM pancakes.
Dinners
Sunday - YS fish, peas and HM chunky chips
Monday - Pasta bake and salad
Tuesday- Roast pork, yorkshire pudding, veggies and HM stuffing using up stale bread crumbs.
Wednesday - Hot Pork rolls with stuffing and apple sauce and HM wedges.
Thursday - sweet and sour pork and rice
Friday - Chargrilled chicken with cous cous and roast veg
Sat - HM pizza, HM garlic bread and salad.
Hoping to stick to it to empty freezer and save a few £££:j

Hi miss_emmajaneI don't think we have tried Fry's steak style pieces before. We like their chicken ones a lot though, they have a good texture and flavour. What are the steak ones like, just a darker more savoury version of the chicken pieces?
