Just thought I'd pop in and say hi...
... we bought our first home last friday, we moved in on saturday, and hope to finish unpacking tomorrow. Im getting back in os, with meal plans and home cooked meals (not burgers or sausages) again. We spent 3 months emptying the freezer for the move... and eating semi-fast food for convienience!
DD is 6 months old today, doesn't time fly?
Hope everyone is well xWe spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like. I don't and I'm happy! Mortgage Free Wannabe :dance:Overpayments Made: £5400 - Interest Saved: £11,550 - Months Saved: 240 -
Hi
Do not post often but thought. Would just say hi!
Very grey here but no rain as yet, no work today took dd for his speach therapy session, which he seemed t enjoy, just hope it helps by the time he starts year 1 in Sept.
Picked dd up and back home in time for shopping to be delivered. No crisps and milk open and spilt all over the butter for ds birthday cake next week!!
Am feeling a little sorry for my self dh working late and last friday had my beloved dog put to sleep so once the kids are in bed will have a bit of a weep as she was always my company.
Also some swelling on my neck under my ear, very sore i think glands, not sure to put something hot on it or cold, never sure which is right!!
sorry to be moaning minnie'You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose' - Dr Suess

Hi JulieG lovely to hear from you, glad that things are going well.
The ears are now pierced and look lovely.
She said that she didn't know what the fuss was about as it hardly hurt a bit!

spent a lovely morning at a continental market , it comes to town every so often , we bought churros and chocolate sauce which was delish, we managed to dodge the rain while we looked round at all the stalls , then we went to the SM and did the weekly shop , came home and went straight out again to get DH some holiday clothes, hes off to Paris on wednesday for 5 days . shattered now
Bitsy so sorry to hear about DH , hope something comes up really quickly xx0 -
Afternoon all
Wet and miserable day here! But the occasional glimpse of sunshine was seen for about two seconds at a time :rotfl:
This morning was spent lugging the furniture back from new office to old office (to only be moved again in less than a month when we actually do move in!!). Then we took our remaining work kids (6) out for lunch as a reward as they had to give up an activity today to move the furniture, and cos they were so well-behaved yesterday for Prince Charles. We went to Pizza Hut for the buffet lunch, and my god I have never seen anyone eat so much  one boy had 20+ slices of pizza!!!! Then this afternoon was spent doing admin.
I have found a company that mow lawns etc, so am going to book them in next week to tackle my small but ever growing backyard jungle! :rotfl: I popped home earlier to swap bus for car and there was a company van parked nearby so I asked how much they charge, he said approx £7. Bargain!
OS wise - WM is on with work tea towels, they will have to dry on airer. Quick tidy round. Dinner will either be a freezer meal or an un-OS takeaway!
Feeling quite anti-social right now, so plan on shutting out the world tonight.
Have a good evening all

I was like that when I stopped having them - you will settle down but it takes a few months to get back into your natural hormonal rhythym IYSWIM! My poor DH was working away a lot at the time which meant he managed to avoid my horrid days!0 -
Sirens have a (((HUG))); always remember, while your dear dog lives on in your heart, she'll never be truly gone from you.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
