There is not a definite answer to your question, but keep all your finances in order for a year or two, and I would expect to be considered for cards that are not intended for people who have no other choice.

As long as your spending on the card and paying back chunks and so on I cant see what the fuss is about. There making plenty of money out of you. This credit situation seems a bit of a game. Well I'll play the balance in full game for 6 months now and see just how this has such an amazing effect on my credit worthyness amongst the credit world, but I wont hold my breath. Seems like a big sham to me. Once your card is marked thats it!0

Vanquis is a good card for building/repairing credit histories but don't ever borrow on one - the interest is far too high.0
