When I lived at Hayling I used to get the Hayling ferry to Eastney and then the bus to portsmouth. I don't know if there is a direct bus, you might have to go to havant and change there. Have a look at the Stagecoach website.0

Yes, a bus to Havant then another bus to Hayling Island.
Many buses per hour, or trains, from Portsmouth to Havant.
Bus route 20, 21, 23 or 700 from Portsmouth to Havant.
From Havant to Hayling Island, a 30 or 31 bus runs every 15mins during the day but hourly on Sundays.
As mentioned above, there is a foot ferry from Eastney to Hayling Island, and a number 15 (or 16A on Sunday) bus will take you from Portsmouth City Centre to the ferry. About one bus an hour.
If you choose the foot ferry, be warned that there is no onward bus service from the ferry on Hayling. It's probably a good idea to come back the same way.0 -
Is there still a through ticket option, bus (Portsmouth to the Ferry) ferry and then taxi (on Hayling).0

My SiL used to live on Hayling Island about 20 years ago. It was a horrible place then. I wouldn't waste the bus fare personally.0
