having taken out a 2 year contract with t mobile , 4month later they increase contract users only by 3.7% its in the t&c they can do this but personaly they have put just contract users up knowing they cannot cancel unlike payg, i completetly disagree with this , we are in a double dip recession and have canceled the contract and have recieved the amount i owe which im not paying i dont like being taken for a ride , they will have to take it to court for me to pay and then i will pay a small amount each month, anyone else angry with tmobile with the price increase ASWELL AS PARENT COMPANY ORANGE 4.1% Increase just on contract users , just greed in my opinion

Well, you've trashed your credit record for at least the next 6 years, will now be pursued endlessly by debt collectors and will owe the money whatever your feelings.
We may not like it, but it's the way it works so you either accept it or ruin your life over it.0 -
If you knew they had a clause in the contract allowing them to raise the price beforehand, why did you sign up? A 1 month rolling contract would have made more sense.
They won't take you court, they'll just sell the debt to debt collectors who will then add their charges so it will end up costing more. Plus they'll ruin your credit history.
Worth it for a 3.7% increase?0 -
my credit is trashed anyway by working for myself being self employed, i dont need credit anymore to be honest everyhting i have apart from the house is paid for ,and everything i buy is with my own cash, thats why i stand up to them right or wrong its fight for what i believe guys
i love dealing with debt collectors there powerless without the courts , bring it on , i know the system how it works , wish me luck guys0 -
i just dont agree with soley putting it up on contract users knowing people cannot do anything , as to pay as you go , its a slimey trick0

Well, good luck with that. I've been self-employed since 1982 and the LAST thing I'd do is trash my credit history. It couldn't have been THAT trashed before or you wouldn't have got a mobile contract in the first place. I currently have ten and and intend to continue with multiple contracts as far as I can see into the future. Being self-employed has zilch to do with ruining your credit history - unless, of course, you've stuffed that up too!0
