Best cash ISA rate to transfer into

Hello all,
I have about 15K in old cash ISA's currently with Barclays and earning 4.9%. I can't transfer these into the new 6.5% account as that's for new ISA's only, so I'm looking for the best rate which I can transder into.

This tax year I've done a maxi stocks & shares ISA and will be doing a new one in April so I'm not after any new cash ISA's.

I've looked on moneysupermarket but it doesn't differenciate which rates are only available for new accounts.

Can anyone adivse?

Thanks,

Mike

Ruffler bank do 5.93% (AER) for £15K plus.
There is a 30 day notice period.

Any others I've seen that are better either have strings attached (like a current account) and/or dont' allow transfers in.

My transfer to Ruffler was very quick - documents back within 48 hours, money transferred 1 week after (although depends on the outgoing bank).

They are covered by the FSA scheme (so you are covered if they go bust) but they do not subscribed to the banking code.
They are a small bank so you will get to deal with 2 named individuals and may experience delays if they are on holiday, however the upside is that there is no indian call center.

Personally I'm happy with it but jsut pointing out the fact so you can decide.

Note the rate is 5.80 qurterly which compounds up to 5.93% over the year.

Yorkshire building society and Bradford and Bingley E-ISA's are probably your best bet.
