you are missing the point i said other members of the family

Gotcha, sorry, I didn't extract it right from the original post, sometimes I find large sections of text hard to digest fully. I thought the neice was still a kid/youngish maybe, my bad.

Sounds like she's complicit then, that's cr4ppy, and looks like a family split. Sorry to hear that My Mrs used to work in a hospice, it used to make her so sad stories of families that split over a row decades before then were lonely in old age which is why I hoped there was a way round it if the neice was still young enough not to know better.
