One of my email addresses wont send?

Just got a new HTC Desire C

Set up 2 email accounts on @live.co.uk domain using Exchange active sync (to sync email, calanders and contacts

One of my email addresses wont send?

It will still receive & other address will send and receive???

Anyone come across this before and have a solution?

it can only be to do with your settings for posting from that account, nowt to do with the phone, go back and re-check the settings that you have applied to both accounts.

both identical - thats the puzzle - i have deleted both accounts and recreated them (identically) many times - even reset the phone twice but one address wont send (only receive)

pretty sure its specific to the phone (or androids)

You will have to get a windows or iphone then, but I still think that it is perhaps that only one send account is possible then, let me check with my android phone.

Only got it this week so might take it back

strange thing is the address that wont sent is the 'default' (priority) - and my most important address - i might just delete the other one and see if that makes it send

Looking at the settings, it does have a check box which says" send from this account by DEFAULT?" have you got the box checked?

Yes - that what defines the 'default'/primary address - and thats the one that dont work

Actually tried deleting the 2ndary address and the primary/default still wont send

reinstalled the 2ndary address and set that to 'default/primary and now that one wont send - but the other one that didn't send now does

appears that whichever address is set to default will not send - bit puzzled how this bug managed to slip through the net and onto 687246321846371894632178946328943 android phones?
