Does anyone have a number? Have spent ages on the 0300 number this morning and they tried to put me through but couldn't connect so said they would email them and ask them to call me, but since that was hours ago and our query is urgent, I need a number. Have searched online and found an 0843 number bit it didn't work.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

still can't get hold of them, have now sent 2 email enquiries and called the 0300 number twice, each time they are unable to connect me to Peterborough although they try. Nightmare.0

I am having the same problem with Durham Passport Office - I have call 15 times in the last 3 days and 4 email - just received an answer phone message from Durham and to call back on the 0300 number to speak to him - and they try and transfer you to Durham but always busy - I think that the only reason that i got a call back is one of my 19 message got to Durham!!!!
I am travelling on 21st July and they have had my application for 3 weeks and 4 days and passport due to arrive (Hopefully) Wednesday which is 4 weeks 2 days and this was sent via Post Office Check and Send 2 to 3 weeks delivery -RUBBISH - will never us this service again!!!!0 -
The Post Office check and send is NOT a guaranteed service - it's the same as standard service. If you want your passport within a guaranteed timeframe you have to use the fast-track or Premium services0

I'm going to try again this afternoon on the 0300 number, I must say they are very polite and helpful but just can't get me through to Peterborough, who are the only ones that can help apparently0

i just choose the option for the fasttrack passports and that will get you through the correct option just gets cut off, hope that helps x

I manage to get through to somone on the 0300 but when they try Peterborough they can't get through. They've apparently sent 2 emails on my behalf and I have also contacted them twice via the internet form. It's a change of name for my daughter, it appeared straightforward but they now want documents we just don't have. She's due to fly to Japan on 4th August. I just want to speak to someone from Peterborough who can tell me what documents they'll accept.0

You will need a change of name deed(or a statutory declaration in Scotland) changing her name from the one on the passport to the one she is using just now. If she's under 16 - a statement saying that everyone with parental responsibility agrees to the change of name.0

Have they sent you a letter requesting docs? There's usually a number to contact @ the bottom of the letter0
