Orange russian roaming fake charges

Looking at my bill, Orange have charged £5 for roaming calls from Russia - now seeing as we have never been there we called custoner services and there's a recorded message about rogue roaming charges that they have been hit with (or rather their customers have).
One to keep an eye on if you bill looks a bit higher than normal but you don't look at the items.

Which Russian network was it, e.g. MegaFon, MTS, Beeline etc?

No idea yet, the bill just states
    #incoming Russia roam

Operator lines have been too busy to hang on to wait for a real human

That's odd, because the charge for an incoming call is generated by the home network (Orange UK), not by the visited network (e.g. in Russia). This would suggest an error on Orange's part, rather than by a Russian network.

How much is the charge and what is the call duration? I wonder whether it adds up to a genuine incoming call charge for roaming in Russia.

Apparently it's a glitch with porting your number
"First of all let me apologise for this slight billing error, we have a slight technical issue at the moment where by on the day you port your number in to our network, you are incorrectly charges for making calls at the wrong rate (Russian calls when in the UK). "
