When to TB review articles? I'm sitting on 40-45 unrated by TB now, but rated by the clients. I want to reach 5 star, and was under the impression passing the proof reading test made you a 5 star writer for some reason..

They reviewed a dozen or so of mine in the last day or so.

I got the impression you couldn't ascend to 5 star without passing the proof reading test, but that the actual progression still depended on the quality rating of your articles.

Yay! That's brilliant, I was told by them that the proof reading is a major step towards 5* rating. Maybe email them?

Yeah I think i'll drop them a line.

My only hope is that the next 5 to be reviewed are good. By all means, I put my full effort into writing articles, but I'm sure you'll all agree that some topics result in a better written piece. I don't want them to suddenly review 5 articles based on casino slots or something where the language is a little more colloquial and not upgrade me.

    Can you speak German too??

    I'm very jealous ....! :)

I do, speak it, write it, read it. Where my moniker comes from. Sommer is German for Summer.

I do have a translation software, for plagiarism purposes and to check my spelling and grammar and I can never re-write the same piece twice.

Wow Sommer, you have got it made on there!;)

I was actually going to ask you, how do you manage not to plagiarise yourself when you are doing so many articles?

Sarah, somewhere on the homepage, it says something about 5* writers being "hand picked", so I'm not where or why the proof reading exercise comes into it. I'm sure someone will know though.

Also Sommer, how do you get to do team orders? Do you have to be invited?

I just don't seem to have an issue with it. In translations, something may come back with content from elsewhere, but I always argue my corner with TB and ask them, how can it be copy, when it has come from my head? I usually re-word their points. There are enough words in languages for us not to copy.

Team orders? I have applied to teams and been invited. I write to most of the clients who I have done work for and some respond and others don't. I market myself and get myself out there. There may well come a time when it doesn't happen, I do have some quiet weeks, but for the most part, I manage to earn a decent income.

I do it full time, so that does make a difference, as I am online all day. I have now finished for today, my husband made me. He's tired of listening to me read out my articles out loud, I don't blame him either, it must be so tedious. He's a builder and hasn't much time for pen-pushers as he calls me. Thinks I do nothing all day apart from write rubbish. :rotfl:

Just submitted my first article, really enjoyed writing it....I can't wait to see how I did! Fingers crossed I've done okay. You seem to be making a real success of it Sommer43 and you've really inspired me to give it a go!

If my husband thought I could make your sort of money on Textbroker, he'd glue me to the computer! :rotfl:

This week has been strange, a load of articles that moved only very very slowly. Perhaps because nearly all, despite being in plenty of different categories, were about casinos or gaming in one form or another.
