Hello,

New here, a bit of advice would be much appreciated. I m not technologically minded...

I m on a T-mobile monthly contract and my phone got stolen, to replace it i bought the nokia 3G 6280 pay as you go on '3' network on ebay. of course it doesn't work when i insert my new T-mobile sim. what should i do?

Hi Tom, what you will have to do is contact 3 to get the phone unlocked, it is a new BB5 phone which means we cant unlock them via codes the Network Operator will have to unlock it for you, 3 will charge you about £30 to do this.

and i think you have to get the original owner to request the unlock code for you
