LIFE is too short to be a bitter person......move on....
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.

I suspect you know its illegal and might be getting peopls opinions as to whether you should grass him up ?
As others have said anyone with common sense, presented with 17 days on a certificate would question it. They are normally written in multiples of 5 or 7.
If he is this vocal about it he may well get caught without your intervention anyway. Someone I know at work called in sick but was spotted by someone in the town centre. People always seem to know more than you think. Also he will probably lt it slip when he starts talking about his holiday ! I wouldnt grass him up because although its clearly wrong if he lost his job it could impact the whole family massively. Just sit and watch.

I knew a guy who had two N.I. numbers. One he used for his job and the other to sign on. Don't know how he got two but he had them.

IMO that sort of person should be "grassed up" because he is effectively stealing money from the rest of us.
