  • Hi All,

Does anyone know if the boots shopping event includes the bootskitchenappliances.com website. The terms mention the boots.com website but nothing else. I know normally this would mean no but it is a boots website and I'm trying to be wishfull as I'm in the market for a new oven and hob and this promotion would be fantastic, if it applies.

    Thanks in advance,
  • To get even more points from purchases NOT from boots then use Boots Treatstreet, if you go through the treat street website Boots will give you extra points from online purchases. There is loads of shops that are part of the scheme including iTunes, Lakeland, Lego and many more. Search Boots Treatstreet in Google and it will pop up, log in if you have a Boots.com account or create one and select your store that you would like to visit and shop like normal then in a few weeks go to the advantage card kiosk or Boots ATM and pick up the points it's dead easy and great way to get extra points.
  • The ATM machine today gave me 50 points for tissues ( 2 packs for £2) and 50 for anti dandruff shampoo ( down to £2 from £2.47)

    ( testing.....)

Thanks for pointing this out mintymoneysaver :)

I'd love it if this could become the new Bootsing thread, I really miss the old one. Not just the bargains but the people on it too. I haven't done any bootsing for aaaaaaages, I lost my AC and kinda lost the will to do it but I've finally got round to replacing my card and would love to get involved again :)

  • I have just written to customer services regarding more or less the same thing. The promotion said 1000 EXTRA points on a £50 spend. I spent just over, around £57, and only received 1007 points, even though some of the items I purchased were giving 20 or more points. The explanation I received was that 1,000 points was for the first £50. In my opinion EXTRA means EXTRA. I think their marketing department needs to be more careful about the wording on their promotions. I actually feel quite cheated.

Hi, had the same understanding as you. It does say however, a TOTAL of 1000 points will be added for every £50 spent. Very misleading and go ahead with your complaint either by phone or letter. it's an 0845 number so will cost you unless you have a BT line with 0845and0870 included. Hope this helps !!

If you spent £57 on a 1,000 points day you should have received 1028 points. If it was a 1,200 points day you should have got 1228 points minimum plus the extra points you said you were being give.

When I shopped on a 1,000 points day I spent £56 and was given 1020 point, I was missing 4 points. Well my 4 points so I emailed them to say I was missing 4 points and got a phone call later that day to tell me they had added the missing points.

  • Has anyone managed to get promotional points on phone top-up?

Incidentally... I haven't been sent any vouchers in at least a year. Customer Services claim it's the luck of the draw. I have my suspicions that I have been targetted...
    My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j

I have seen mention on another Boots thread that they purchased top ups and got points, sorry can't remember which thread it was.

I never get communication from them my daughter does all the time, I contacted them and they said I had ticked the no mail (I wouldn't have done that) and since then I have had emails but no post.
