Hi guys, there's also a thread on the mse grabbit board dedicated to boots bargains click here0

I have nt got an "ATM" machine near where I live although we do have a Boots. We bought electrical goods from Boots on line which were £300. As I could not "retrive" my points from a machine I rang them & was told by a very nice lady that she would send me the points & I could get them added to my account in any Boots.0

I used to love these vouchers that they would give you if you spent over £5, and used them to stock up on L'Oreal products. Their Revitalift Day Cream used to cost around £10 in Boots, so with a fiver off, was a bargain. But recently I noticed they had put the price up to £13.50, so with a voucher it was £8.50. And in my local Asda, I can buy the EXACT same product, not on any kind of offer, for only £6!!! So it seems Boots are really ripping people off, charging more than twice as much. Beware!0

Does anyone know if/when they have their double/triple point weekends does this apply to online appliance purchases? we're looking to buy a couple of items for the kitchen. I was curious as with the extra points earned off a new cooker & fridge plus my existing points, id have almost £100 and that could go towards a dishwasher.
Thanks.0 -
You need the full amount of points to purchase items, you cant use part cash and part points.
And yes you normally get extra points with on line purchases:) Am thinking of a new one:beer:0 -
I have just purchased 3 items from the Boots.com website.
There was a promotional offer of 750 points when you purchased 3 items.
Nowhere did it say that the base points will not be credited to my account if the bonus was applied.
One item reads like this:
6.3 ML £30.95 per 10ML
£19.50
Collect 76 points with this purchase
The other 2 items both read:
£13.00
Collect 52 points with this purchase
The offer is this
750 points when you buy 3 or more selected Premium Beauty
Deduct the base points of 180 then
the offer is really only worth 570 points.
I do wish Boots would be more open and upfront in the way they deal with the offers.0 -
This is the only way I can get something back for my old inkjet cartridges. It's not a good way to get £ for phones etc. really but I've received a few hundred points for my old Lexmark 2 & 3 cartridges.
Google "boots recycle". It won't let me post a link yet...0 -
sonz999, I think Boots are changing how they do a number of things so we need to be on our guard! You may well have found one of those things.
You say "The offer is this: 750 points when you buy 3 or more selected Premium Beauty". I'd read that as getting 750 points and no more. However, your heading is "Base points do not count if a bonus is applied". Bonus: something given or paid in addition to what is usual or expected - and this is what we normally expect from Boots with these offers so I recommend you double-check their wording and, if it was indeed a bonus, get them to give you all the base points as well. Good luck!0
