If you type the full name of the shop then your post will come up in search engine searches, most big places check the web for posts about their own company so by not naming them, they can't see what you're writing.

Evening all
Happy birthday Miss Bitsy
Monnagran - does your DS2 fancy a trip to Wales?! My lawn needs doing :rotfl:
It was gloriously sunny all day and as soon as I got home the heavens opened and it thundered. Still raining now.
Another odd day at work. We all had to attend a mandatory work meeting at HQ in Cardiff (just over an hour's drive away), where we got told job descriptions were changing and that we would be asked next week to select a preference for which job we want from the pool of new jobs. There will be no compulsory redundancies, and apparantly most of us will get our first choice. I'm not overly worried as there are 12 of us doing same role as me, and there will be 12 'new' roles so we should all get the same job! Confusing. But we got a free lunch!!
OS wise - quick tidy round, some paperwork filed, stirfry made for dinner.
Have a good night all

FB - hope your job is safe.
Hilstep - Hugs to you, look after yourself.
Monogran - your DS could have a month's work here - I would gladly put him up while he did my garden!
Just when I thought the weather had cheered up it rained. Really hard!
Lovely relaxing evening here, DD at Alton Towers and I have a night off. Glass of vino and watching the tv is about it for the evening. I did go into the bedroom of doom earlier and filled the gaps in the skirting boards ready for painting tomorrow. I do feel that progress is being made but very slowly!
I've just watched DIY SOS and cried buckets - the wee boy was just adorable and the family were so grateful.
Take care. XX0 -
Hello again.
Did my 30 mins weeding, wept over the state of my runner beans -been abused by slugs - while the thunder rumbled in the background. Got inside just before the heavens opened.
Two lots of visitors and a very long phone call from an old friend more or less saw off the rest of the day. Gave up after that and did some more of my baby blanket.
flutterby & Camelot: Excuse me, I was the one who got up in the middle of the night, sat through numerous school plays, stood on the touchline in the teeth of easterly gales watching small boys cover themselves in mud, paid for driving lessons then sat up till all hours of the night waiting for him to come home, picked up the pieces left by various girlfriends, cried when he cried, broke my heart when he was unhappy.............
If ANYONE gets their garden done it will be ME.
I'll pass your kind offers on though.
The Rev will be back from her meeting soon so I'd better have the kettle on.
Perhaps more people will come out of the woodwork tomorrow.
I didn't know that about the supermarkets. Thanks Pooky.I believe that friends are quiet angels
