Blimey! That's a bit out of order, innit? We've had showers about every 20 mins throughout the day but it has cleared out to blue skies and sun, now.

You need to move dahn sarf, lass, we've passed legislation; no hail permitted after valentine's day and only before then by prior booking, the right chitties signed and all that jazz.

Lol. Its been mostly sunny all day. then came over all grey had to do a double take when the big fat splats of ice started coming down. Been on an off all eve. Am heartily fed up of being cold hope we get a summer this year.

I have just skimmed that article and I am appalled. That diet is a recipe for diabetes if ever I saw one. High carbs means higher blood sugar. The older you get the less well most people's body deals with it. There is little fruit or veg. Whilst you could exist for a short time on a diet like that illness will eventually be the result unless you find a way to add more fresh fruit and veg. Fruit juices are full of sugar too, much better to eat whole fruits to get the needed fibre and other things that will be missing from pasturised juices.

I'm further south than you GQ and we've had hail. So based on your knowledge of the law, I now want to know who ordered it

Sorry but had to laugh at this one
"Tucked away at the back of most wardrobes are clothes that are never worn, says Wrap - a not for profit company which advises on sustainability.

It says the average home contains clothes worth £4,000"

I doubt my clothing for the whole of my life would come to that figure.

What a load of twaddle - tobacco and narcotics  they have an average weekly spend on narcotics. Does my diet coke count?

A good dose of reality is needed me thinks. I feel like writing my personal list, how do you calculate the cost of one roll of deodorant per day and 6p baby shampoo used for hair, showers and cleaning everything you can think of including the cat:rotfl: My gloop works out at about 1p a week.

Notice no one was allowed any hobbies apart from the tinternet and drinking..and narcotics :D Maybe if I smoked what Eric Clapton called 'Rock and Roll Benson and Hedges' I wouldnt be so pee'd off by the calculations.

As for clothes I bought my yearly pair of yoga pants and 3 pairs of socks also the only labels in my wardrobe are Age Concern or British Heart Foundation.

the things they waste money on is getting these so called experts to write opinions about drivel like this.

GQ you should grow Pak choi, its easy to grow and is lovely steamed or chopped in stir frys.

The last of the snow is finally gone from our yard. The Collie comes in with muddy paws and just grins at us.

I am owed money by Revenue Canada and have decided that there is enough to have a pretty good trip on it. I need to find my travel bud and make plans. It's always hard because we both work in what is considered essential services so our vacations are hard to match up.

It's 20C today and there are pople out in shorts! I hate living in a place where there are only two seasons. Winter and Roadworks. And yes, the city decided to dig up the road in front of my house!

    Mrs L.

Now 119 cases and 24 deaths with about 80 people still in hospitals.
Official reports are about to be on a weekly basis but some news reports are mentioning new cases and unofficially adding to the totals.
