Just seen a trailer for 'Wartime Farm' coming to BBC2 in September, looks good, same crew as 'Victorian Farm'...

Only after the last tree has been cut down. Only after the last fish has been caught. Only after the last river has been poisoned. Only then will you realize that money cannot be eaten.

I absolutely adored Victorian Farm and I'll be glued to this too. I remember Ruth and her 27k Singer treadle and her paper patterns, and making potted pigs head on that old range stove!

Hello Helen, welcome to the thread!

Thank you for the info about Wartime Farm DippyPud, I also loved all their other programmes, and am inordinately fond of Peter (Mardatha do you hear me? He is, and always was, mine! LOL)!
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).
  • Have made bagels tonight for the first time. Not bad for a first attempt. DD has a copy of The Road, so I've started reading that. While munching a poppy seed bagel ;)

I've always thought of paracord as 'MacGyver string'
