:D Ask Simon if you can borrow his Cat,

Thanks GQ. Can you see Simon's Cat lowering himself to catch mice? :)

Actually I just received a cuddly Simon's Cat as a reward for crowdfunding a Simon's Cat film. However, I expect the mice would rip him apart to use for bedding.

Bait your traps with raisins dipped in peanut butter. And set them so they go off if you breathe near them. Look round the house for mouse poo - you may need more than two traps. If you have lots you may have to resort to poison.

Not to worry you or anything but teeth marks on the plastic? Could it be rats?

Could be - but I had mice that chewed through the dishwasher outlet hose.

Look for the poo... mouse poo is teeny tiny. Rat poo isn't.

Had to get to Hawes from Kirkby Stephen today for some urgent dog meds. Couldn't have made it yesterday due to flooding and it is all set to kick off again. The ground is saturated and just can't hold any more water.
The cottages by the river have been putting up flood defences today. Again. They still aren't recovered from last time. And the farm which has now been badly flooded twice has been busy with a digger building a huge wall of earth covered with plastic.
On Monday there are plans to dredge the river which has built up in recent years. Apparently there used to be regular dredging/maintenance. All the lusty young men from the village will be there. Pineapple might have to apply full lip gloss and check on progress. :rotfl:
Everyone has been getting stocked up. To think it was snow we were worried about for this time of year..

Just popping in to say I hope Eva doesn't cause too much damage to those in the west, and stay safe people.

I can't believe that same area is being hit again...! Hope everyone stays well.
Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.

Thanks guys. It's a bit hard to distinguish mouse poo from tea leaves in my bin. :)

The little bugg*r has been chewing at my new bin bag overnight, but ignored the pre-baited mouse traps. I think I'll try the traditional ones baited as above.
