And in current news, the Belgian police have just tweeted a pic of a bowl of dry food, to say thank you to all the kitties who helped them last night. And no, I'm not making it up :rotfl:

Apparently they have all the instincts of an African Lion and would kill you and eat you if they were only big enough. They are just patient enough to wait until you are not going to put up a fight.
It's really easy to default to cynicism these days, since you are almost always certain to be right.

:D There's plenty of times when I've caught one of the family mogs, the mongrel oriental The Queen of Sheba, giving a human The Look.

And at those times, gentle reader, I'm flipping glad she's only 4 kg and I'm nearer 100 kg. Then she catches the look on your face and it's like she jolts herself and starts making nicey-nicey in a hurry.

You can almost hear the thoughts S**t, nearly rumbled me then, gotta play cuteski for a while, purr purr.

    To quote Leonard Hofstadter:-

"Okay, fine. Live with cats. Be like my Aunt Nancy. She had dozens of them. And do you know what happened after she died? They ate her."

I often think, watching our cat Albert gazing at the fish tank, how lucky we are. In the event of one of those fish coming out of the tank to attack, Albert will have him straight away!
