I'm just watching the Greek vote live on the BBC. It looks like the 'yes' vote is going to win.
However, if anyone voting 'no' is going to be sacked, what sort of democratic vote is that? Turkeys don't vote for Christmas.0 -

We have been sold out to Europe and have given them permission to take what they want of this country and anything else they care to grab. I am so angry I am spitting feathers at the moment and so are most Greeks I know.:mad::mad:
Today they are voting on the measures to be taken. Voting them in today so they can be taken from today. Some of the new measures are shocking to say the least. God only knows where they think we will get the money from to pay more out.
This is a great chance for the Golden Dawn fascists to gain more support.....well played Germany!:eek:0 -

I also do not expect to see any improvement for decades unless there is a change in government policy. It's really easy to default to cynicism these days, since you are almost always certain to be right.0 -

Phew .. I have so missed you all: been offline for over THREE WEEKS. Unbelievable. Anyone here had any experience of negotiating compensation from their ISP? Suppose I should go and ask on the relevant thread, but some of them seem a bit scary and unfriendly compared to this one ... anyway, I am so glad to be back!0
