:) What's pro-tem? I favour superglue, gaffer tape and WD40. If none of them work, hit things with hammers and swear a lot.

It won't fix it but you'll feel a lot better.

Just had a farmfood leaflet through the door,

Need to stock up on loo rolls, ( down shifted to Nicky loo rolls)

So will make the most of their £2.50 off £25 spend..

Beware the Nicky loo roll if you are on a soakaway or septic sewerage system as, like Andre*, it doesn't bio-degrade readily and it quickly bungs up the whole kit-and-caboodle

:) Farmius Foodius have Nicky tp on offer with two 18-roll packs for £7, as opposed to the normal price of £3.95 each for this size.

charlies-aunt, was once convo-ing with customer services up at the water company and they confirmed my long-held suspicions; premium tp brands do block the pipes.

:o Err, I tend to regard Nicky as a premium brand, favour the cheaper stuff here. Bring back Izal Medicated, the dual purpose product for tracing paper and intimate wipage. We'd still have had an empire if we'd stuck with suchlike products, I tell thee.

I wouldn't have thought Nicky was a premium brand....

I would have thought the very soft velvety stuff that doesn't really wipe anything, lol were premium brands

I found this on a prepper site regarding a possible raid on the banks in Greece, just as happened in Cyprus.
It also echos what a lot of us have been saying about not keeping a lot of money in the banks. But remember that when a currency collapses it will become worthless paper overnight, so you are better putting your money to use on tangible things like food, sundry supplies such as toilet roll, soap etc and equipment.
