  • Well - theres plus sides if the EU fails......

  • The Guardian newspaper website seems to be the best source of "breaking news" on what is happening in Greece.

Latest being - that after the Greek Finance Minister met with the banks yesterday evening he has now resigned.

Which I personally interpreted as him saying "Whoops....I personally am not going to 'carry this can', as I don't know whats inside it".

Actually, the finance minister has resigned so he can bring in a plan to arrest the big boys responsible for the mess we are in.......he is a war games strategist, one of the best in the world, besides an economist. First thing this morning they started things in motion...including stopping all access to money, gold and jewellery in safety deposit boxes until the folks who own them can prove the contents are legally owned by them and tax has been paid on the cash and the money that bought them....

The leader of the opposition has resigned and they have told him he will be arrested if he tries to leave the country. The lady who has taken over from him is next...its been revealed she has five hundred million dollars in a US account...as well as the same amount in euros in another.

    Meanwhile...have a look at this... https://www.fbi.gov/washingtondc/press-releases/2015/deutsche-banks-london-subsidiary-agrees-to-plead-guilty-in-connection-with-long-running-manipulation-of-libor

Germany is in huge trouble financially...they have called a session of the EU parliament to see who can help and what the rules are on driving Greece out if they dont want to leave......watch this space....:rotfl:

I found the Guardian online to be a very fair source of news in a very dirty game....At the moment the French are really supporting Greece. I would not be surprised to hear that Germany are leaving the euro within months or weeks....

I love Varoufakis :) The Guardian live blog this morning is carrying a comment from an IG trader about his resignation, that he ran rings around the EC lot and the institutions :) I really hope he continues to help behind the scenes, but since the euro lot don't like being humiliated by their own lack of knowledge compared to him, he's probably done the best thing by going. He's *really* not a politician - thank heavens.

Germany leaving, 1Tonsil? Blimey ... that would be a turnup ... I did read something on zerohedge about their exposure, how it would get magnified by (can't remember - EZ percentages, via the ECB, I think).

    Keep prepping, all.

Edited to add: As dandy-candy has so rightly pointed out, this is from 2011 - hadn't spotted that when a friend sent the link to me! Lesson learned - keep calm & check the date!
