Though why over complicate it? Microchipping might be useful if they need to go in and out of high security areas within the company but it is a step too far for many people.MrsLurcherwalker wrote: »Would micro chips mean that people could be instantly stopped from accessing benefits or medical care or access to buildings? I'm not technical and I don't understand how these things work but working on the assumption that things like electronic keys to hotel rooms can be cancelled and invalidated on handing them in at reception would it be possible to make that happen with micro chip technology? If so what a powerful tool for TPTB to hold over the population, what complete power it would give over all of us, or have I read too many SI FI books?
worry more about you pacemaker having malware added to it in an update. This is ALREADY an issue. Just think of the potential for crime - I've hacked your pacemaker/implant/whatever - pay the ransom or I switch it off... :cool:0 -
Or fillings? how much easier would it be to pop something into a new filling and we'd never suspect a thing would we? Actually.......how do we know it isn't happening now?????.................0

Easy, Lyn, that's one short step from making a tinfoil hat to stop the aliens talking to you.:p

Just typed out a long post then the power went off and I lost it - was thinking today about cold, since the wind is whistling right from the Greenland ice cap into the back of my house. It's soo cold. Was thinking of all those Rambo wannabees who talk about bugging out to the hills. I just wish they would try it now lol.0

The lady who was airlifted to hospital on Saturday was apparently only out for 3 hours.. and she was only found by the mountain rescue sniffer dog - the team had walked past her because she had wandered off the path and was wearing dark clothes.0

They'd die like dogs, Mar. Can you imagine the physical shock of people who have only ever lived in CH houses and only ever bathed in heated water being out in the wilds? I doubt they'd survive 24 hours.
We have no snow whatsover here. Fortnight ago today we had a 15 minute snow shower and on Thurs we had another one about the same length. It's extraordinary reading about what some parts of the country are getting.Lyn, I don't know how to break this to you, but I can actually see you over the interwebs and know exactly where you keep the tinfoil hat, mwah ha ha!!!!!!!

A cashless society is another way I think of gaining more control over the population. Its really scary to read of microchips and cameras the size of a rice grain nowadays, anything can easily be planted on people or in their homes. I don't think everyone is bothered though, not long ago I struck up a conversation in work about webcams on laptops and spying through that. Some people were of the opinion that they were not bothered as they 'never do anything wrong' and it may keep them safe. I was the odd one out to suggest about the rights of privacy (or do we have any rights the way things are going?).
I have an old n*kia phone coming up to its 11th birthday but unsure whether this type is traceable. Regarding body mods/tats; I have 3 tats done a very long time ago, you would not think they were there unless I didn't wear a t-shirt or band shirt. I don't think the code of conduct is in place anymore with regards to this.0 -
I have much tinfoil, can make hats in many designs and could even make you a Solar Topee if you wanted, whatcha think???0
