Buffs are great, I have two of them and have worn one under a bike lid before now, makes all the difference, doesn't it?
Funnily enough, one of the two is a permanant fixture in a side pocket of the BOB, should dig the other one out and put it in my daily bag. At this time of year I have my burglar fleece hat and a pair of gloves in a jacket pocket, so they're always with me.
Good thought, that woman.Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

I tend to wear mine indoors a la 'girl with a pearl earring' ie not folded but tucked under at the back. My art tutor says it gives me a bohemian look, snigger...Aspire not to have more but to be more.

Stop all this snow talk. I have no snow. It's stopped drizzling and I don't think we're anywhere near cold enough to snow. Which is a darned shame as I love it.

I hate snow.
Living were I do, when we get it, we usually get it very bad.0 -
With regards to bush fires here, you tend to get a fair bit of notice of one being on the way before it's time to get the heck out of dodge. And then, I'd say the majority of evacuations don't actually result in you losing your house, just a few days of inconvenience elsewhere. So taking a few clothes would be on my list too.
Ovens are not on my list of things to clean. I never end up with a great deal of anything greasy in there (that sort of thing goes in foil or an oven bag) and anything likely to overflow has a tray beneath. So I suspect, were I to look closely, it wouldn't be *that* bad in there. But I'm not about to look closelySoftstuff- Officially better than 0070 -

It has been a-coming for some time now and the position, as I understand it, is that Wales and Scotland have already rejected growing G.M. food there and some English local authorities.
So, basically, pressure needs to be put on English Councils to follow Welsh Assembly/Scottish lead and refuse to have it growing.
I agree completely that G.M. Crops need to be prevented. From a quick look online there is an e-Petition on this topic (albeit with a smallish number of signatures at the moment). I've just signed it.

Here is something that some of you can make but I opted for the designer versions.
