I can't imagine any batteries will last more than a few days.

It just seems to eat batteries for breakfast. :(

:( I have a routine hospital appt with a specialist nursing sister later this month, arranged a year ago, as part of the monitoring of my metabolic disorder. If the dreaded E has touched down here, I shall be cancelling. I'm slightly immuno-compromised anyway and don't like going to the hospital if I can possibly avoid it.

If they're treating E anywhere on that site, I won't be going up there. :(

It'll still be handy, just not as a general emergency light.

I'll be keeping it as a lamp to cook by.

Given its massive light output, it'll be perfect for such short time usage.

    Aldi is your friend.

4.8W (approx 40W equivalent) and 6.3W (approx 52W equivalent) GLS Bulbs, for just £5-99 each.

I didn't see the brighter ones for £5.99, they were £8.99 I think - I'll have another look at the weekend though

Hi guys, have been stalking you all while slowly prepping away.

Those of you that have packs of disposable gloves, where is the best place to buy them in terms of price and quality? dont want to waste money on flimsy rubbish.

    thanks in advance

If you want a massive light output - see this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CIBIqaeiE2M

I get mine (in boxes of 100) from my local market but, unless you live in North Lancashire, that information isn't going be much use to you. :)

Here you go and, according to this, they're currently £4-99.
