Oh Lord JK that's such a coincidence. I've been sleeping badly but with vivid dreams and waking up feeling really anxious and not knowing why. I think it is partly because it is hot at night for the first time this year but it's a bit discombobulating
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!

Have you thought of having them spayed? :)

If I thought it would help, I'd spay the ping pong balls before disposal, however I just go straight for disposal. :)
Herself thinks they make amusing toys - I've suggested the next lot will be grounds for divorce. As she can sleep through anything, she is unaware of the problem, or so she claims.
  • jko- sorry a bit personal so don't feel you have to answer, but have you recently started or stopped any medications? sleep disturbances-inc vivid dreams-is a common side effect of messing with the bodies chemistry-similarly common in menopause, pregnancy and puberty. or have you recently eaten a lot of soya products?

as for dreams being prophetic, are you aware of the phenomenon known as 'self-fulfilling prophecy'?

    Thanks Marsbargirl.

Nope, no new medications and no soya. I guess it might be the heat, but it doesn't usually have that effect.

    Phew!

No nightmares last night. I think I was too tired for them. Fingers crossed for the future.

This totally OT for the thead lol but I have the same prob jk0.Now I ask every night that I don't have any bad dreams, that the guides keep away anything negative or dark and don't let it into my mind. It works because when I forget to say it I tend to get the dreams again.

Glad you slept better JK ,I overslept this morning..roll on the holidays!
  • I am not sure if anyone can help, I need some advice about a hit and run incident. I am only new to the site so I can start a new thread. My partner has been knocked off his bike by a hit a run driver. The police don't know who the driver of the car was and the car was not registered to anyone. It has since been involved in another accident and been abandoned.

My partners clothes were shredded, his bike wheels completely snapped and frame dented - it was a fairly expensive bike. He took two days off work and was badly bruised and scrapped.

The house insurance won't cover him because we didn't have the add on, the car wasn't insured and we are stuck with a huge bill, no bike and 2 days off work sick. Is there anything we can do? We spoke to the motor bureau but they charge a £300 excess.

Hi Ladypenelope6! Sorry to hear about your partner's accident, sounds horrible. I think you would probably get more help by starting a new thread in the Forum section called 'Insurance and Life Assurance'. And probably a visit to your local Citizens Advice Bureau ....
Good luck and best wishes to you and your partner.
