I get my gardening bug from my grandfather, and like yours GQ my granddad made his greenhouse out of old wooden windows etc,,, and his shed was like an aladins cave of bits and pieces, tobacco tins full of nails, screws, washers, seeds etc..

Gosh, I'm working well here ... I just found the picture I was looking for when the topic of woodstoves was aired t'other day.

How's this for a log stack?

And while we're on the subject of woodburning, if you're into stacking logs but you haven't heard of holz hausen, that's the term you need to Google ... :)

:p Nice to know we're all being treated equally by the fornicators, hey? My city is obviously too insignificant to make the map so presumably we're not to be *%$!ed at all.....:rotfl:

I take great pleasure in knowing that my coalition muppet has a majority in the low hundreds and prolly doesn't sleep at nights. Is known in these parts as That (insert oath of choice - from mild to extremely offensive) Idiot.

Have heard the muppet referred thusly by everyone from patrician types to the oikiest of oiks. Quite an achivement to have such cross-demographic contempt levelled upon one, hey what?

Bet they're sharpening their biros at JobCentre Plus waiting for the muppet to come and sign on after the next general election.

Or, you could get this one from Aldi, for less than 1/2 the price.

My grandad made his shed out of the old Anderson shelter that they used in the war :rotfl: and there was also a sort of shed upstairs, a room over the entry to the back gardens (don't know why the council built stuff like that, but they did). When he died, it took six weeks to rehome all the screws, bolts and nails ... :D
