    :) Thanks SWS.

I don't know if it affects Wales or not. Unfortunately the England-centric view tends to use England when they mean UK and then there's the considerations of the devolved regions. Good on ya for checking it out and it'd be good if you'd post the answer.

Wish my region could secede from England but we'd have to dig a bliddy great barrier around the Provincial County. I'm sure we were a separate kindgom or three back in the Dark Ages.........:rotfl:

Hokay, parents incoming, going offline for a few hours to sort out vandalised sheds and stuff. *sigh* thank gawd for family and friends, both RL and online.

GQ I'm so mad on your behalf. Is there anyway you can rig up a mouse trap that would catch prying fingers? Don't see how anyone could say there was any harm in that because after all, these sheds are prone to infestations of pests, aren't they?
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!
  • GQ.... I am so, so sorry, I don't know what to say that wouldn't get me banned from MSE... ( just imagine every word being a disgusting swear word describing them and their actions).............up at the allotment, and the scumbags that done your shed over

One of these might scare the living daylights out of them. They are very loud. We all had one given for our allotment sheds by the committee.

I always bought ahead with clothes for my kids. I never saw it as prepping, just common sense. I also kept outgrown clothes especially baby things and I used my baby things for all the first five. I didn't think I would have any more so got rid of them and fell pregnant again and had my last at age 45! I just accepted anything used that was offered from kind friends for him so bought very little new.

I have just been through what was left of stored clothes for youngest and either put some by for re-purposing or took them to the charity shop because his tastes are different to his brother. He has very quiet tastes and did not like the bright orange and acid green sweatshirts or the fancy patterned shirts :). All the plain stuff he kept though. Pajamas were especially useful.

Well if The SHTF today....I have a lovely stew in the slow cooker and a rice pudding in the wood burning stove to come home to after my weekly outing to trawl the £ shops! :) ... All made from bits and bobs....all's right with the world :)

The stew sounds good but I hate to think how long it took to pick out all that rice from the wood buring stove :D. Just think of all those sooty bits, but I suppose the carbon is good for your stomach lining, haha.

  • GQ I am so mad on your behalf  sadly the days when a Copper gave you a clip round the ear and dragged you home for a good hiding from your parents, or the slipper and cane if you misbehaved in school have gone :( More's the pity. Maybe if the parents were prosecuted they would do something about their feral sprogs.
