Where is the best place to get pkt soups? Have they usually a long date on them? I think I'm going to get a load of them in and start building up the stash again.
Snap!
I was in Hasda this morning, a shop I don't normally frequent as it's not in my neighbourhood, but I was pedalling past so thought I might as well cruise the aisles.
They have there own brand "simmer soups" which work out at 25p each if you buy four at a time, a tad more otherwise. I've also seen packet soups in Poonland, the 99p Store and any other supermarket. These ones have Sept and Oct 2014 dates on them, although I bet they'd be fine long past that.Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

Comes in with backpack as if I travelled around the world, dumps backpack. Sighs as I kick off my boots, dump the dirty washing in kitchen as hubby loads shed with camping stuff. Make a brew and pull up a chair to catch up past 10day worth of pages.
What I've missed folks?
Had a lovely time made lots of memories, some rained soaked, and have a red forehead! I'm very tired as I didn't sleep well as I was waking up during the night checking kids were still in my bed and that they were warm etc as hubby had to work and it was only me and kids in tent. I'm glad to be home thou and in bed. Have lots of tinned food I took with me left and replaced back in store as we eat out very cheap by sharing meals and chips by the sea!
Hope everyone is well am about to go back and read.
But I have got a new to do list for house in coming weeks to keep me focused.0 -

ASDA sell "5 minute simmer" packet soups, that make up to 1 pint.
They're currently selling them @ 4 for £1.

A have 8 packets in my BOB.

MAR most of the 99p or £1 shops have an offer of 3 mugshots for 99p or £1, use by dates here into 2015 and a variety of flavours. Don't know if the RV could have them though as they are pasta based? They are nice and filling though and only need the kettle boiled to make them so saving fuel over soups that have to be cooked. Cheers Lyn xxx.0

Actually, since I seem to have reverted to childhood (have just rolled out of bed), I ought to get some tea and porridge down my neck before going to the lottie. A fertile veggie plot is a form of prep, after all.
If anyone has access to a 99p Store, you may like to know that they have those BelV*ta breakfast bar thingies in 300g boxes (6 x 50g). They're packaged for Germany but I think I can trust myself to eat one in English. Three varieties (cranberry seems to be cranberry in German, lol).
Get chore Fruhstuckskeks while the getting's good. I shall have some more later today.Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

They also have Chewy Muesli bars, in packs of 10.
A dozen boxes or so, would make a handy addition to the store cupboard.0 -
I need to find a poundshop, but will make a start in Asda tomorrow. TY. MrsL, if the SHTF and the zombies ever make it up my hills then the RV can bloody well eat pasta and like it!0
