I think you need to tell his dad that your son needs to be with a family member at all times, you are sending him to spend time with his dad, not an unrelated stranger, and if his dad isn't going to be there then he could have stayed at home with you but you would be happy for him to be spending some time with his Grandma as an alternative.Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

This is so hard as unless you can be a fly on the wall, you can't really tell how she is behaving around him if it were just the stories about her shouting etc as kids perceptions can be off. She could just be stricter than you, if that were all. But the fact that she has been abusive to you, and even assaulted you, means that I think you are right to trust your son on this one.
Next time something like that happens, keep the evidence/call police.

If dad has parental responsibility then unfortunately you can't tell him what he can and can't do during contact visits without getting a court order to that effect. You're best off reporting every incident to the police (making sure you get incident numbers for each and every time) and getting specific legal advice. Try and amass as much evidence as possible - keep a detailed diary, take videos/ photos, keep texts etc.Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants - Michael Pollan
