Can't help you with travel, but has anyone in your family got Boots or nectar points that you can get food. Or if you have a little change lying around the house you can sometimes get lucky with yellow sticker reduced food. I often get bagels for 9p, pate 19p, yogurts 5p. It might reduced the amount you need to find. Hope all goes well for you.

(Remember to get an emergency fund when you are on your feet :))

As others have said, food I'd be aiming (if at all possible) to get reduced - check local supermarket closing times and hit it up in the last hour, normally works.

As for raising the rest of the cash, short of selling cds/dvds etc to the likes of CEX I can't think of much more.
    On the up :D

Do you know anyone in need of a babysitter in the next couple of evenings? As someone else said, do you have any points on Nectar/Tesco cards you could redeem for food ? Any recent purchases you still have the receipt for that you could get refunded ?

Sorry, can't think of much else apart from what's already been suggested.

    Good luck

Thanks for the advice guys :)

    Have thankfully sorted it.

Would never get a pay day loan again...I'm on this website because of them.
