i made a transaction in error to a flight company and as soon as i made the transaction in error for a flight i didnt want i contacted the company in question only to be told they would not refund me the money even though the flight in question is 10 months away. Can anyone advise if i have any comeback

A lot of flights are non refundable so if this is the case then unfortunately no.

It may be transferable to another date though is this a possibility?

All depends on the aoirline's T&Cs.

You may be able to get a refund of taxes. Unfortunately the airline may make an "administrative charge" which outweighs this.

As soon as you put any card details in then you've spent it, never submit details until you are happy and have double checked.

How do you search for a fare - then enter your name and address then get a total-cost page and then enter your card number and then press enter to finish the transaction?
Sorry no refund due unless it says so in the terms and conditions which you should have read first.
