I like old sayings and this one's a classic:
"tell the truth, but don't always be telling the truth"
in other words, answer questions honestly but DON'T volunteer anything; always best to say as little as possible.
On reflection, another one:
"bend the rules mister, bend them double, but don't break them"
Oh what wisdom in old anecdotes.

CAB told us to check their policy after bankrupcy, so we made an appointment and they were great about it, and have said that they will not freeze the account. It was a huge relief as we had switched all our direct debits etc to it. I sense they will be fine with you. But you still worry all the same. Wishing you well!0

i'd been advised before BR date with cccs to open a basic account to pay benefits etc into, not feeling that great I eventually plucked up the courage to open a post office account for benefit payment, during the OR meeting mentioned this & he said it wouldnt be taken into consideration. We all die.
