I'm shocked that there was no store demo, it really annoys me when I go into my local currys as they have all the tvs on demo and on different volumes and all out of sync.

If there wasn't a display/demo model what made you choose that one? Did you see it online and just go in and ask for that specific TV or did you go in not knowing what you were looking for?

If the latter how did you end up with that model if they didn't have one out for demo reasons?

As for LED looking better in a bright store, I have to disagree, I find the glare on the screens in a bright store causes really bad reflections but my 32" LED in my bedroom looks great when watched at night with either no lights at all or maybe a bedside lamp. I've never seen such a crystal clear picture.

Stores are only so big, you can't expect them to have every TV they sell out, granted if the salesman offered that one then they should of had it out, presumably if you picked it and said "I want this" then you will have done your research on it.

don't forget that in those reviews, the picture is photographed with a camera, and being replicated on your monitor. It is not the same as having the picture come from the TV.

Also, they're going based on the colour sensors, and while the colours may not look how you like from the review's findings, that doesn't mean that they aren't natural....that being said, Panasonic plasmas tend, for me, to reproduce the most natural colours, but that's my personal preference.

After 20h+ calibrating that is how the picture looks like.

Unnatural, red faces. If you take less colour it pale. Trust me I have tried all settings.

Curry CS forwarded me to a technician, which now lets me return the TV for a new device, which seems to be very common for this device.

i had issues with the Samsund D8000 (around 1k). luckily i got it from richer sounds who happily swapped for another D8000.

Had the same issue with that so swapped it for a panasonic. Wont ever buy a Samsung again

At least I know that I'm not being dim in store then, because I can't make my display samsungs look natural, but lots of people like the oversaturated primary colours, especially because the bezel is slim and silver.
