Though I'll be sad to see it go as it's given such good service over so many years, I'll more than likely replace my Mitsubishi CRT later this year... and then there's what some others have mentioned: actually lifting the thing!~cottager0

Try a local collect eBay auction for a small price and see what happens. At the least it may sell and leave at no cost to you, while you might get lucky and have a few bidders.0
