I was a bit late paying my bill only by 2 weeks and even though i have payed 12 days ago i still keep getting txt`s and phone calls from some clowns called Fredrickson chasing the bill ! Don't Vodafone update there systems so these clowns are informed or what ?

Its abit of a cheek really them chasing the bill so soon considering i constantly have phone calls on this handset from bailiffs and other debt collectors chasing debts i don't even owe & when you complain about it to them they do diddly squat apart from say " we will block them for you " what a joke that is i get so many it would take me all day to list them to them.

How about you just pay your bill on time?
It's a shame that service providers aren't able to come onto public forums and name and shame customers that don't pay their bills!
Contracts are 2 way agreements. Service provider, provides service. You pay on the date that you agreed when you signed the contract, for the service. Not exactly rocket science is it?

You are posting an opinion and asking for comments, not advice, so here goes.

How would you feel if your salary was paid 2 weeks late? Bet you would do something. Well Vodafone did something. They didn't appear to cut you off, though they could have.

They have a DD system, which you don't appear to use if you paid 2 weeks late, so I am afraid that doesn't make them bad guys in my book.

So, to answer your question, No, I don't agree with you.

I'm with the others - this is a slick automated operation. If you don't want the chaser calls, you need to pay in advance of the required date. Most other utilities work the same way, as it is seen the earlier they chase the customer, the more likley they are to get paid.

Nor do I. The OP should pay his debts on time, and also learn to spell some basic English words.
  • I think threeuk are the worst and vodafone whilst there does seem to be a lot of complaints, at least they do seem to reply. I had issue with them some time ago where sold a contract and told good coverage that they had checked it. Found later the local mast had been taken down and was not to be replaced for some time back then. They cancelled the contract straight away and allowed me to go elsewhere, no hastle from their side.

So as much as read high number of threads do remember they were quick to act when at fault.

The bill would of been paid on time but the bank messed up on the dd ( remember the Nat-west fiasco ) but thanks for pointing that out anyway Mr/Mrs perfect.

So...by your own calculations, your bill would have been due around the 13th of June (ie you paid 2 weeks late, which was on or around 12 days before you posted your OP)
Take some responsibility, instead of blaming everyone else.
And as for Mr Perfect...certainly not - however, as soon as I was made aware of this IT glitch, I made sure that all of the places that I pay DD to (from Natwest) were aware where my money came from.
