Not sure where to turn.

Did you use different security and/or passwords when setting up the new wireless? Might be worth just trying with it set back to what it was before with Orange if you can and seeing if that works.

Thanks for the reply.
It's a totally new router, so I'm using the password for the new one.0 -
There are different standards of security though. Maybe the Cello doesn't support the level the new router is using. It will probably be WEP or WPA. As your other devices have connected, they must have detected the standard in use - or it's the same as before. I don't know what the cello supports or how its connectivity is configured. See what it says where you enter the password and look for WEP or a variation on WPA. Then check that against one of the other devices that has connected wirelessly.

You'll need to check and double check the password. What sort of error message do you get?
The TV range seems quite upto date to me http://www.celloiviewer.com/assets/code/50047 so I'd be surprised were your router not compatible. Of course you could install another -older- router and link both of them.
And if there is a problem you can't be the only one who has it so contact the manufacturer http://www.celloelectronics.com/static_pages/page/after-sales-service0 -

No error message. It just doesn't react at all to the password. I have triple checked it. LOL
Have spoken to O2 who said it's the tv and Cello who say it's The broadband!0 -
If it seems not to be reacting it may -it thinks- have 'connected' (assuming of course when you connected previously there was no confirmation).
Which makes me think your router may be blocking the device.
You should be able to revert to your old router to test this. Just Google the settings for the model and change them to your new carrier.
It also worth turning all the security and firewall off on the new router temporarily to see what happens with the TV (again what sort of notification -if any- should you expect?) when you connect.0 -
Thanks for the help.
Will give it another try tomorrow.0 -
That's worth a try.
By a bit of fiddling it would be possible to keep your old WiFi router going as well.
What does the TV say when you try and connect ?0 -
The tv does work with a cable connection.
Not had chance to try the wireless again today - but wouldn't have a clue how to keep the old (Orange) router rather than or as well as the new O2 router.0 -
Just a thought.
In this review http://www.pocket-lint.com/review/4645/cello-iviewer-iplayer-television-review they mention "The initial setup via Wi-Fi presented no problems, but returning to change the Wi-Fi settings after the first time seemed to confuse it, and it refused to scan for networks."
Is it worth trying a factory reset and reinstalling it ?
