And yes that house looks fab.

The garden has been put on hold at the moment, what with the bad weather and Christmas, although I really want to give it a good go next year, I really want to make a good go of trying to be self sufficentish....

I am currently reading Mark Boyles follow up book, which came out this year called 'The Money Manifesto', it is very good, and although I know I cant live without money as I have debts and a mortagage, some of his tips are fab and I will give them a try, once I have put a plan together. The two books have really opened my eyes on the things we take for granted and the fragile world we live in.

Did you know that 65% of energy (gas and electric) is lost before it even reaches are house. That is how poor our energy system is!!!!

See I am full of useless facts now.

Oh I managed a NSD today, so that is 1 for the month.

He is basically suggesting that agriculture, which has lead to mass production of food was our biggest mistake as humans.

I particularly like this quote

Hi Folks,

Well it has been a good weekend. I managed to get some more gardening done on Saturday, I have added some pictures to my blog, if anybody wants a look.

Then today we went to a christening, which was lovely and it was great to catch up with family and friends.

Morning folks,

This year I have been very disorganised and left my Christmas shopping until the last minute.

I went last night after work and managed to get quite a bit done so pleased with that. I am not pleased with the cost of everything, but that is another story.

Anyway, hopefully I can get a few final bits tonight and then thats me done.

Well I have managed to get most of the Christmas shopping done now. I also managed to get all my cards and some of my presents wrapped last night.

I love wrapping presents with the Christmas songs playing and a glass of red wine in hand.
